General Product Questions:
Are your products safe to use?

Yes. All Shakin Reveal® products are designed specifically for events and use non-toxic, biodegradable materials such as cornstarch-based powder and FD&C approved colorants. Our products are safe for outdoor use and clean up with water.

Will the powder stain clothing or surfaces?

Our powder is made from natural cornstarch and food-grade dyes and is designed to wash off hair, skin, and most fabrics with water. As with any colored product, temporary residue may occur depending on fabric type and environmental conditions. We recommend wearing washable clothing and avoiding delicate materials during the reveal.

Is the confetti biodegradable?

Yes. Our confetti is made from biodegradable materials. We also offer rice paper confetti (in one of our handheld poppers) that is water soluble and dissolves with moisture within minutes.

Can your products be used indoors?

Some products are suitable for indoor use (such as the wireless confetti boxes and the 16" handheld cannons containing confetti only). Powder based products are only recommended for outdoor use due to the volume of color released and breathing safety in closed areas.

How many remotes do I need for wireless confetti boxes?

Only one remote is needed. A single remote can trigger any number of confetti boxes (as long is they are all turned ON). If you ordered more than one confetti box, a single click of one remote, will trigger all confetti boxes.

Can the extinguishers be automatic?

No. Extinguishers are manual and require to have somebody holding it and squeezing the handles to release powder. Powder can be stopped at any time to stop the flow. We are only able to wire the extinguishers to be "automatic" locally in Oregon when our team comes and sets up!
Why is there confetti left inside my confetti box after use?

After deployment, some confetti may remain visible in the box casting. Visible loose confetti remaining is normal and does not indicate malfunction.

How should I store products before the event?

Store at room temperature. Freezing temperatures will affect the product performance. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not puncture, crush, or attempt to open sealed devices.

Do you still offer your 4 or 12 cannon rentals?

We do not offer rentals anymore. Our new wireless confetti boxes replace the rentals by providing a more cost efficient product, that is easier to use and provides a bigger effect.

Shipping and Returns :
Can I return my extinguisher or confetti box?

No. Due to shipping regulations, powder extinguishers and confetti boxes are classifies as hazardous-material devices and cannot be returned once shipped. Those items are final sale.

Can handheld cannon poppers be returned?

Yes. Unused handheld cannons may be returned according to our return policy. Please review our return policy for more information regarding eligibility and fees.

What if my product arrived damaged or didn't work?

Please contact us immediately with photos or videos of the item and packaging. Our technical team will review and provide a replacement or resolution if a defect is confirmed.

Do you ship fast?

Orders get shipped out daily Monday-Friday via UPS. Transit time varies depending on where you are located. Please contact us if you are unsure about delivery timing for your order, to avoid not being able to return unused items if arrived late.

How do I track my order?

You will receive an email confirmation stating that your item(s) have shipped. Tracking numbers will be included for you to track via UPS.

Can I edit or cancel my order?

Once your order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Orders can be edited or cancelled anytime before UPS picks up your order!

Event Tips :
How do I clean up after the reveal?

A leaf blower is your best friend after a gender reveal. Using a leaf blower will remove powder instantly (if it is fully dry). You can use the leaf blower to gather confetti as well for easier pick up.

How many extinguishers should I get?

This is totally up to preference! Our most popular order is one confetti box + 2 extinguishers.

What is the best way to get great photos?

Keep in mind that the effect goes up 15-30 feet depending on wind. Vertical camera angle will capture the full height of the reveal and is recommended.

Can we practice before the reveal?

No. These are one time products that cannot be reloaded and redone. Do not test the extinguishers beforehand (pressure will release and will not work for the reveal).

Will my order packaging or product reveal the color?

No! All packaging is consistent no matter what color you ordered. There is no color indicators on the packaging. We do not include order receipts or packing list in the package. Products do not have visible color indicators as well.

Each product has a sticker on the bottom that says "check for color". You need to peel this sticker and will see in writing either "pink" or "blue" written. This is for you gender keeper to check to make sure you got the correct color!
